Upon arrival, the warmth of our hosts immediately set a welcoming tone, as we enjoyed drinks while being shown around the stunning property. The Josephine suite provided a comfortable base for our adventures, with its modern amenities nestled within the charm of the chateau's historic architecture. Our daughters particularly loved exploring the expansive grounds, where they embraced leisurely afternoons in pedalos on the lake, complemented by outdoor picnics we set up on the lawn. We also took advantage of the nearby village of Lagrauliere, cycling along scenic paths and immersing ourselves in the local market scene. Breakfast became a highlight each morning, with freshly baked croissants and a delicious spread to start our day right. Bellefond’s unique offerings, from family-friendly amenities to the tranquil atmosphere, make it a worthwhile choice for those looking to experience the beauty of France together. We left with fond memories and the promise to return soon.
